Is Git Bash Safe to Use on Windows?
I've recently downloaded and installed Git Bash for Windows https://git-scm.com/downloads, my primary goal is to use it for pushing code to GitHub. I already connect Gitbash with Github in browser login, and it worked pretty fine to push and commit. In the installation, I kept the default settings and only configured user.name and user.email same as my Github Info.
I'm concerned about the security implications of using Git Bash, as it has access to my computer system.
Is Git Bash safe to use? Are there any security precautions I should be aware of or any additional configurations I should consider to ensure my system remains secure?
