Enabling App Notification, Not Secure?
so im kind of a beginner and i always hear that when i request data from a server only then the server is allowed to send me data, else it would be a security hole to allow a server to send me data without requesting it and i guess this is how some firewalls deal with this. My question is: When im allowing an application or server to send me notifications well yes i allowed this but i mean im not officially sending a request to the server(or am i always sending requests when i do this(idk its complicated)?) but the server is now able to send me traffic without me asking for it so is this something bad?
