Why am I not recieving any hosts when using net.probe in bettercap?

Why am I not recieving any hosts when using net.probe in bettercap?

I am using bettercap on a Kali Linux Virtual Machine. I am connected wirelessly to the WiFi-network.

I want to see the devices conected to my network. In order to do that I am using bettercap on a kali linux virtual machine. When in bettercap I've used the following command:

net.recon on 
net.probe on 
net.show

I expected to get a response with a table containing all devices connected to the network. I only got the "eth0" and "gateway", not the other devices on the network. My questions are:

1. Why am I not seeing the other devices?

2. How do I fix the problem and make sure to see all devices on the network?
