Replied "Unsubscribe" to an email that seemed authentic, Chrome acted weird briefly after
I received an email from an account that seemed identical to a newsletter I was formerly subscribed to. It said to reply "unsubscribe" to unsubscribe.
It seemed like Chrome acted a bit weird briefly after I did. (Slower to respond than usual.)
I immediately disconnected from the internet, restarted my computer, and used my phone to change all my passwords.
Would it be possible for an ill-intentioned party to somehow gain access by replying to an email with a single word?
(I use a MacBook, and it is updated to the most recent OS and gets automatic updates. I also have 2FA enabled on all accounts.)
