Persistent Trojan Reappears After Removal and Windows Reinstall
I recently downloaded a game from the internet, and after the download completed, I noticed that programs were opening automatically and randomly, including browsers like Chrome, Edge, and Brave. The system was navigating between programs on its own, adjusting screen brightness and volume without input. Additionally, my keyboard stopped functioning correctly—pressing one key would trigger a different action.
I installed several antivirus programs (ESET, Bitdefender, Avast, Kaspersky, Norton) and performed full scans and smart scans, but none resolved the issue. I read that this type of virus disguises itself as system files, making it difficult for antivirus software to detect. I tried using multiple Rescue Disks (Kaspersky, Dr.Web, Avast, ESET, Bitdefender), and while some detected and removed the virus temporarily, it reactivated after a day or two, often with enhanced capabilities.
I reinstalled Windows multiple times (4-5 times), but the virus remained dormant until I reinstalled Windows, at which point it reactivated. I also tried cleaning the boot files and recreating them using Command Prompt, but that didn’t help. The virus appears to be a combination of Trojan.Win32 and other similar Trojans.
I’ve exhausted almost every possible solution and would greatly appreciate your help. What should I do next?
