How could you prove that downloads through your ISP account was done by someone else? [closed]
Will LE ever accept an explanation that your your router wi-fi was open, and the neighbor's kid must have used it to download the stuff because it's not on your computer?
Specifically, can it ever be proven that something downloaded from your account went out the back door instead of into your own PC?
The only way I can think of to prove that would be if your log files showed that your system had been shut down at the time of the illegal transfer. Otherwise, driving around town scanning for open WiFi would be a bulletproof way to download literally anything.
